The Business Development Representative (BDR) at BetterMe for Business plays a critical role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients for our corporate wellness solution (B2B). This role focuses on cold and warm prospecting via LinkedIn, email, phone and social channels to schedule discovery meetings for the Sales Manager.

As a BDR, you will be responsible for building relationships with HR and company leadership across SMB and enterprise accounts, sparking conversations around employee well-being, and positioning BetterMe for Business as a must-have wellness benefit.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
    • Research and identify high-potential accounts that fit BetterMe’s ICP.
    • Build and maintain targeted lead lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and other tools.
    • Monitor trends in HR and wellness benefits to identify outreach opportunities, stay on top of the industry changes.
    • Develop creative, multi-channel outreach strategies to engage decision-makers.
    • Actively participate in internal cross-departmental discussions to impact products and offer transformations based on the evolving market demands received first-hand.
  • Outbound Sales Outreach
    • Perform sales activities on LinkedIn (commenting, liking, connecting and messaging decision-makers).
    • Manage cold email sequences, personalizing and A/B testing messaging copies (SL’s, CTA’s, account-based strategies).
    • Follow up strategically via email, LinkedIn, phone to increase response rates and # of booked meetings.
    • Test new strategies and proactively implement process improvements where necessary.
    • Partner and effectively communicate with cross-departmental POC’s to strategize and come up with creative marketing and/ social campaigns.
    • Develop and execute account-based prospecting strategies for high-value enterprise prospects.
  • Lead Qualification & Handoff to Sales
    • Pre-qualify leads based on their interest, budget, and fit for BetterMe’s solution.
    • Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to uncover pain points and collect data for further analysis.
    • As a frontliner, obtain trends and evolving challenges of the target audience to shape BetterMe’s solutions.
    • Tailor BetterMe’s value proposition to the needs of the persona based on the industry, seasonality, revenue, goals, etc.
    • Achieve a quota of discovery meetings per month for the Sales Manager.
    • Data hygiene - maintain CRM and lead records clean in HubSpot, update documentation and supporting materials.
    • Upon need support Sales Manager with inbound lead qualification.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Track daily & weekly outreach activities and optimize conversion rates.
    • Monitor lead-to-meeting conversion and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Provide weekly KPI reports and suggest improvements based on data insights.
    • Adapt to new technologies and be eager to apply AI and automation tools to maximize leadgen efforts.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 4+ years of experience in outbound business development, and/or lead generation (B2B SaaS or HR Tech preferred).
  • Proven success in omnichannel outreach (LinkedIn, cold email, social selling, phone).
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability, process automation, and data analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot), Apollo, Sales Navigator, and sequencing tools.
  • Excellent English communication & copywriting skills (C1 preferred) - able to craft compelling messages, scripts and pitches.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
  • Passionate about corporate wellness, HR trends, and sales strategy.
  • Desire and readiness to use AI to minimize manual activities and maximize pipeline generation.
